I don't seem to have found time to blog about our heritage railway visits in September and October but as the days grow colder and shorter I'll have time to update both blog and web pages.
September saw visits to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Nene Valley Railway autumn steam galas. I've now added videos of both galas to my web pages and these are linked below.
Our first visit was the Nene Valley Railway near Peterborough for their British Railways Standards gala held over the weekend of 14th and 15th September 2013.
For the last weekend in September we visited the North Yorkshire Moors Railway autumn steam gala which was very good even though there was a distinct lack of visiting locomotives.
October arrived and we decided on a couple of days away to visit the West Somerset Railway's steam gala. Fortunately for us the weather was much better than expected and we had an excellent visit to the county.
As more information is added to my web pages I'll do a blog post listing the updates. In the meantime I hope these three video will keep you entertained as we enter a time of little steam movement on both our heritage lines and mainline charters.
